October 7, 2010 Stars from UK soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale came out to help the Blossom Appeal celebrate its 10th Anniversary at a glittering Gala Dinner event held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on Saturday 2nd October. A study funded by the National Cancer Institute shows that taking hormone-blocking pills for a few months before surgery can have important impacts for women with breast cancer that is fuelled by estrogen.
