Ex-Beauty Editor Secrets -- The Best Drugstore Skin Care Ever ...
The product I love best from the entire line is Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cream, which has salicylic acid and retinol to treat fine lines and acne. Beauty cynics like me (and -- as I garner from your most excellent and insightful reader comments on past posts -- many of you) might think that the appeal of this product is due to its fantastic name: Healthy Skin! Anti-Wrinkle! Anti-Blemish! Seriously, what more could you want? But no, it's not all hype. It works, and clears up your skin, and makes it significantly glowier in about a month. Google it if you don't believe [more...]

A good homecare routine: Morning and evening cleansing and moisturizing are the grassroots approach to achieving and maintaining wrinkle-free skin. Physician-grade and many natural or “green” products offer high-density effective ingredients with little or no fillers, which are commonly found in over-the-counter and department store products. An effective cleanser is matched to your specific skin type and cleans the skin without stripping it of vital oils and moisture. Serums and moisturizers “feed” the skin with nutrients to aid in moisture retention as well as collagen and elastin [more...]

Easy Ways To Find Out Your Skin Type | PraisePhilly - Praise 103.9 ...
Dry or dehydrated skin usually feels tight and uncomfortable especially after cleansing. Dry skin usually feels like you have to reapply moisturizer through out the day and your makeup may not last all day. Your skin becomes rough, cracks and flakes especially in low humidity or cold climates. People with dry skin may notice more fine lines around your eyes, forehead, mouth and neck. Oily Skin finds it hard to control unwanted shine, consistently experience spots and blemishes, and have enlarged pores that often become clogged resulting in whiteheads, blackheads, pustules, papules, cystic [more...]

Olive Oil has been used for hundreds of years like a moisturizer as well as like a skin tightening therapy. A new product called Olivem 800 is manufactured out of olive oil and also that is made to penetrate deeper in to the skin. Jojoba Oil lessens stretchmarks and lines and also leaves the epidermis really soft with no oily feel. Again, since it is appropriate for natural skin oils, this works well as well as doesn't result in any discomfort. Jojoba is especially valuable if you're prone to acne as it balances the sebum in the epidermis. It furthermore assists by providing moisture to dry [more...]

Drugstore skin care routine for combination/oily skin? | Your ...
I’m looking for a new skin care routine for my combination/oily skin. I don’t have acne, just the occasional pimple, so I don’t need an acne system. If you know of any that work well without drying out your skin, that would be appreciated! I would use neutrogena gel cleansers. I get a few pimples on my forehead now and then and I have an oily T-zone, but my cheeks get really dry. Their basic gel cleanser (I actually like the grapefruit one. Its the same, just smells better) has [more...]
