Each surgeon created a signature appetizer with some expert guidance from Komés chefs. Patrons voted for their favorite, with... Lapos appetizer winning. This unique charitable event raised $1900, divided among Lehigh Valley Health Networks departments of colon-rectal surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Wireless sensors during beating heart surgery

The Showcase included live video transmission of beating heart cardiac surgery performed at an OR at the Interventional Centre( www.ivs.no )to an auditorium. The wireless platform with real-time sensor data based on an IEEE 802.15.4 compliant platform was shown simultaneously.
