This procedure was performed on April 17, 2007 by Dr. David D'Alessandro, Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Center. Dr. Ricardo Bello was the assisting surgeon during the procedure. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Daniel Goldstein, Surgical Director of Cardiac Transplantation, Montefiore-Einstein Heart Center.
