Yesterday we reported about the case of a 12-year-old boy who suffered from a condition called “Toasted Skin Sydrome”, which was caused by having a laptop on his skin for hours at a time. We all know how hot a laptop gets, and I would never have one on my lap with nothing on my legs for a prolonged amount of time.You can be certain that there will be parents out there who will feel like this is a case to be taken to the courts to try to get compensation from the laptop maker.
