Men laser hair removal on legs?

I am a 25 year old guy and I have always hated having hair on my legs …i have a lot . Plus I am light skinned and have black hairs so it really stands out. So i was wondering if laser hair removal will work for me..And I am embarassed to get it because i have to get it on my upper legs too .
