1/2 capful of Downy per quart of water, mixed in a spray bottle. Spray lightly on wrinkled clothing and let dry. She says that Downy works better than the generic brands of fabric softener, and she personally likes to get the scented Downy to make her clothes smell nice.  Since I figured I may be using this on my husband's work clothes, I went with the regular scent because I'm sure he wouldn't want to sit behind his desk smelling like lavender.
