Studies on older mice could aid in development of anti-aging drugs
British and US researchers have identified a key process responsible for weakening muscles in old age and used a chemical to block it in studies on mice. The findings were published in this month's Nature. As people get older, their muscles lose the ability to regenerate. A new treatment known as 'frolox' may soon replace the popular Botox as a toxin free alternative to combatting wrinkles.
