Step-By-Step Skin Care Routine for Combination Skin
voir la vidéoHere is a requested video for my skin care routine. I have combination, acne prone skin and I do this routine morning and night. I like to keep things quick and simple, so I can stick to a regimen and consistently take good care of my skin. An older lady I know who has GORGEOUS skin and is probably in her 70's told me her most important beauty tip is good skin care... "ALWAYS wash your face morning and night, even if you don't feel like it." I trust the woman because she's still got it going on :) I've struggled with acne (clogged pores and blackheads, mainly) since I was pretty young. I've been on TONS of different acne meds and used to go to an esthetician every 2 weeks. My skin is still not perfect, but this skin care routine has helped me improve my skin and make my acne a lot more manageable. I hope this was helpful for you! Review: Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion on Acne-Prone/Oily Skin
voir la vidéoI've been using Cetaphil for about a year now, but each bottle lasts for about several months. It's quite good for the oily skin but I recommend slathering it on during night time. Even though the bottle claims the lotion to be "non greasy" I find it too greasy for my oily skin. Good hydration for dry skin, however. 4 stars/ 5 stars (not bad for over the counter stuff!) Makeup Tutorial: Everyday Face for Oily Skin
voir la vidéoThis is what I do on a daily basis. I have been doing this for the past few months and right after I got the Jane Aguaceuticals tinted moisturizer. Before that I just used a moisturizer with spf. People always ask me what foundation I use in my videos and the fact is I do NOT use liquid foundation everyday and I never will. It is not good for my skin. If you are oily and want some coverage from a foundation use a POWDER foundation. I used to use mineral makeup. There is no reason as to why I don't use it anymore, I just like to change my routine now and then. voir la vidéoREAD THIS!!! For Combination / Acne-prone skin None of these products break me out and help keep my face shine-free all day. I don't use concealer, since this foundation's coverage can be built up so well, it's 2 in 1. Also just a tip: always use a foundation brush's tapered tips. If you use the side, it causes streaking. Notice how I generally use the upper half to tip of the brush to get the best and most natural results. I have a MAC 168 that I could use for contouring as well but I choose not to because the line it creates is too harsh. My skin type is combination oily skin- very oily in the T-zone and comfortable in the cheeks and chin. My forehead is also very acne prone. Most of the items are Shiseido products because I am a huge fan of Shiseido skincare products. I like them because I think they are gentle yet effective for controlling oil. However, I can't say I think it is the best out of all department store brands because the only other dept store skincare brand I've tried is Clinique! Also, just fyi, I've tried many drugstore brands in my youngin' teen years when I had a lot of acne (Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, and Clearasil) and NONE of them worked for me. =X So that's why only one of my skincare routine products is from drugstore...loll xP Anyway, enjoy the video and have a lovely day!! =D FTC Disclaimer: I paid for all items with my own money.
